Blog Entry 5
Unusual occurrence do not come that often. They come once in a blue moon. Today something unusual happened. It may not seem unusual to you but to me it was really unusual. It was a normal day like any other school days. I could not wait to go to the gym after lessons.
I was actually supposed to do a circuit training with other floorballers but we intended to skip the training and go to the gym. This is because the circuit training involves running up the stairs to the seventh floor, run across the block and running down back to the first floor. In between, there are some other exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups. You could definitely see why we wanted to skip this training. It is extremely tiring.
So after school, I changed into my PE attire and headed for the gym. There, I waited for my friends who intend to skip the training too. We trained ourselves by lifting dumb-bells, doing sit-ups and compared to the circuit training, training at the gym was more relaxing.
We tried to make ourselves perspire so that people would think we had done our circuit training. We had trained and tire ourselves for about thirty minutes when our coach as well as teacher-in-charge, Mr Amir, spotted us in the gym. He went in and asked what we were doing at the gym. One of my friends, told him that we will do the circuit training after training at the gym. I could sense uncertainty in Mr Amir but in the end, he did not say anything else.
It was very unexpected. I have never thought that Mr Amir would ever enter the gym. It was very unusual. At the period of time where Mr Amir entered the gym, I was utterly shocked.
Since, my friend said that we will be doing our circuit training later on, we had no choice but to do it.

Sometimes, there are times when you do not understand what is being taught by the teacher in class. It's because you do not want to pay attention or you are being distracted by your friend or you could also be busy copying down notes when the teacher explains.
For me, I was copying down notes that are being screened. While I was copying, my teacher was explaining how to solve the questions. I was very unlucky as I did not manage to listen to what my teacher was explaining. In fact, I did not even know that the teacher was explaining to the whole class. Sadly, I missed out on everything.
When I returned home from school, I wanted to complete all my homework but I saw this sheet of paper. On that paper, there were some words and sentences that I did not understand. I was lost. I did not even know what I was supposed to do. It seems that I have been copying down blindly.
There was no way I am going to do that homework. So, I kept it into my file and decided to ask my friend the next day.
The next day, I asked my friend on how to answer the questions. My friend willingly agreed to teach me. I have learnt a very important lesson. I should always listen when the teacher's explaining and clarify if I do not understand. Then I can copy down notes that are important . I wonder how some of my classmates are able to copy down everything that the teacher shows on the screen and at the same time understand what the teachers are explaining.
They are like machines and they do not stop copying. Don't their hands get tired?

Moments spent together with your family. Those moments are very valuable, precious, priceless, important, whatever you want to call it. They are like the magnetic force that attracts the magnet and metal together. These moments help you to bond with your family members, obviously. But nothing will happen if you do not make good use of this time. Its the process that matters.
Last two weeks, my family, my cousin's family and I went to the Singapore Botanical Gardens. At first, I felt lethargic and I did not want to follow them but I was forced by my father. So I was gloomy and annoyed the whole journey from my house to the Singapore Botanical Gardens. At that point of time, I had no mood to do anything. When we reached the destination, my cousins were all anxious and excited. I was totally the opposite. I was whispering some vulgarities to myself.
Why must I follow them? Why am I being forced to follow them?
I was really stupid but luckily I managed to knock some sense into myself. If I'm already here, than it is better to spend fun rather than just being gloomy and 'dead'. Doesn't that makes sense?
Its really hard to immediately get back to a good mood when you are originally in a bad mood. You have to do it slowly. My ego is like a large, huge barrier, preventing me from doing something nice. Whatever it is, I have no choice but to do it.
I started playing together with my cousins. The game is quite kiddish but I do not want to waste my time and miss out on the "fun". Although I started having some fun, I was still fed up with my parents.
I did not really bond with my family. But that does not matter as I have learnt from that experience that we must treasure the times spent with our family. Since every family member is so busy, this opportunity does not come often. Hence, we have to seize it when it comes and make full use of it.
I really wasted that opportunity as for my family, we rarely spent moments like that.

Blog assignment 2
You may say that anger is an emotion, but it is not just an emotion. Anger is a virus. A very strong and powerful one. When it is taken, it will be extremely hard to get rid of. It will stick to you and turn you into somebody really different. It will turn you into somebody that is full of darkness and somebody that no one wants to be near with. Anger is so powerful that it can take control of your body. It will make you heart beat faster, face redder as if you are on fire.
Anger can hurt feelings. It leads to stress, hatred, revenge and it can involve physical violence. Anger turns the nicest, most innocent people into cruel and wicked people. Anger can definitely get out of hand. Anger blinds us to everything we do.
Its better to control anger than let anger control you. Anger almost took control of my body but I managed to overcome it. It happened in school.
He was annoying. Really, really annoying. It was just my luck to sit beside him in class. He was really very lucky that I'm quite a patient person. He was behaving as if he was a strong big person, thinking that I was afraid of him. No way!
I was not the only one who got irritated by him. He has irritated lots of people. Actually, I do not mind when he irritates me but there is a limit for everything you do. He was constantly agitating me again and again. I closed one eye for the first few days. I thought he was just playing a fool. But soon, as more and more days started to pass, he began to take advantage of me.
A day passed, he was irritating me like normal. Another day passed, he began to annoy me more. Each day passed, he kept annoying me more and more.
Then came the day. The day when I retaliated. The day I could not hold it anymore.
On that day, he kept overturning my pencil case several times causing the stationaries to fall out of my pencil case. The final time he did it, I threw his pencil case. Revenge was surely sweet. I looked at him as he bend down to pick his stationaries. Doesn't he have better things to do?
Then about half an hour later, I decided to bring my chair to one of my classmate's table to discuss our answers. As I carried the chair, the irritating scoundrel pulled the leg of my chair preventing me from going.
I told him to stop but he refused. I kept repeating what I said. I repeated and repeated.
Before I told him to stop for the last time, I whispered to myself that I was going to react physically if he did not do so. Unfortunately for him, he refused and he did not know what was in store for him.
I kicked my chair to him but I was not satisfied. The teacher that was conducting the class went towards me. He told me relax. I was just about to kick him or deliver him some punches when the teacher stopped me. I told myself to relax and let him off. But after everything was over, I still felt unsatisfied and regretted not fulfilling my satisfactions.
Soon as hours passed, I reflected upon that incident. I surely made the right decision to stop. I stopped despite not being satisfied. I did not let anger take control of me. I managed to stop before something worse happens. Anything can happen.
aargh!

1st Blog entry
Have you ever experienced a time when you are all alone in the house? There's no one else but you . The time when you have the freedom to do anything. Anything, and no one will find out what you did. Those were moments where I would decide to do something new and exciting. For me, I do not usually have moments like that as my mother is mostly at home when I return from school.
Therefore, I have to treasure those times and do something that I will enjoy. I do not like to use the computer or listen to songs but I love to cook! Cooking is so exciting and unexpected. I started cooking during the recent December school holidays when I really got nothing to do. I like to eat and since I like to eat, I should try to cook. That was how I got interested in cooking.
My first attempt was cooking an egg. It was one of the simplest thing I have ever done. Although it was simple, it was like magic. After the first try at cooking, I thought that cooking might be an easy thing to do. That was what I thought. I experimented on the eggs and tried to give it some taste. Just by using an egg, I discovered different ways to eat it.
Soon, there were more and more days where I was alone. I did not spend all of the time cooking though. There are countless activities I could do so why stick to one. But cooking was the best activity I did. The smell of different herbs and spices were unbearable. My tongue was always curious to taste new things.
If I'm not wrong, the most recent thing I cooked was crab stick omelette. Omelettes can be cooked with lots of other ingredients such as cheese, ham. Cooking is like a journey in life. You get to discover new things and create new things. I am just a beginner but cooking is really worth it as almost every single food are delicious. They have their own unique taste and when you putdifferent food together, they can make a really delicious meal.
